And she's the [orange]sole[/orange] Winter Phoenix. (for those that don't know. She's the [green]only one[/green], there are [red]no others[/red].)

Eye Color: Ice Blue (and stays that way in either Phoenix or human form)

Able to use Ice attacks in either form; excells in a style of fighting that requires no shield

Obviously can transform from phoenix to human and back again.

She is the only, one of a kind Winter (or Ice) Phoenix. There are no others of her spieces. Her name is Azura, she has no last name because she has no past nor a future. Therefore no purpose in life. She merely flies from land to land, watching others and learning, yearning to know her purpose.

One day, she came across a young swordswoman, named Sora and befriended her. Azura was invited to the girl's village and she agreed to go. The people were amazed and awed by the phoenix that they hailed her as a bringer of prosperity... shortly afterward... the opposite happened.

A famine struck and the village blamed Azura for cursing them. The hunger and sickness drove them mad and in their minds, killing the curser with break the spell; and so they all tried to kill the phoenix to be free of the famine. Only Sora defended the bird when Azura did not wish to harm the villagers and only fled. The two were chased and cornered by a ravine, the swordswoman told the phoenix to flee but Azura refused to leave her friend's side.

Sora kept the villagers at bay until an earthquake struck and caused the cliff they were on to collapse, sending them and a few villagers to the bottom. Sora and Azura managed survive the fall, but Sora was gravely injured, protecting the phoenix from the fall with her own body, and in knowing this the swordswoman was not to survive long. (This is what caused Azura to fear earthquakes.) Shocked, terrified and unable to stand to see her friend die completely, Azura laid on of her wings over Sora, and absorbed a bit of her soul to adapt into a transformation for a human form. Naturally took on the look of her best friend, shortly after Sora died.

She now roams the lands, cold, angry, hurt and very lonely...
